For those who don't know yet, Banchetto is a nightly event every Friday and the pilot location was at Emerald Ave, Ortigas, Pasig. Part of the street is closed to give way for hundreds of food stalls offering different dishes from barbecues, burgers, pastries, pizza, pasta and other one of a kind food finds that you will only see in this wonderful event.
They also started new locations at Robinsons-Forum every Wednesday & Thursday from 830pm-6am and Shopwise-Libis every Tuesdays from 6pm-4am.
We've all missed Banchetto-Emerald for almost a month now but still they continued the Banchetto tradition every Friday in Robinsons-Forum.
Sadly, the most awaited weekend Banchetto will be on vacation this Friday, June 3, 2011. The organizers are gearing up for a better and bigger Banchetto starting next week, June 10, 2011. (You can check their announcement here).
There are no final announcement yet for their new location. I can't wait to see my favorite food stalls and experience again the busy streets of Banchetto.
For old timers and soon to be new visitors, here are some of the food stalls I am looking forward to see and try again.
